Alice was born about 1352 in Arundel castle, West Sussex, England , the daughter of Richard FitzAlan and Eleanor Plantagenêt.

Her husband was Thomas de Holland, who she married on ABT 10 APR 1364. The place has not been found. Their seven known children were Alianore I (1370-1405), Thomas (1371-1400), Joan (c1380-1434), Edmund (1383-1408), Margaret (1385-1439), Eleanor II (1386->1413) and Elisabeth (c1388-1423).
