Margaret was born about 1430 in Eddleston, Scotland, the daughter of Archibald Douglas and Eupheme Graham.

She died in BET 21 JAN 1472 AND 19 APR 1475 in Falahill, Scotland.

She had three marriages/partners. Her first husband was sir William Douglas, who she married on ABT 24 JUL 1444. The place has not been found. They had no known children.

Her second husband was James Douglas, who she married on ABT 27 FEB 1452/53. The place has not been found. They had no known children.

Her third husband was John Stewart, who she married in BEF MAR 1459. The place has not been found. Their five known children were Anne (?-?), Janet (c1461-1510), Elizabeth (c1465-?), Catherina (?-c1473) and Christian (?-1538).
