Joanna was born about 1339 in Strathearn, Perthshire, Scotland, the daughter of Maurice de Moravia and Joanna de Menteith.

She died about AUG 1409 in Hermiston, Roxburghshire, Scotland.

She had two marriages/partners. Her first husband was sir Thomas Moray, who she married in BEF 1361. The place has not been found. They had no known children.

Her second husband was Archibald Douglas. They were married, but the date and place have not been found. Their five known children were Jane (c1360-1421), Archibald (1372-1424), Marjorie (?-<1421), Eleanor (c1362-c1400) and James (1371-c1443).
