Karl was born about 1293 in Sverige, the son of Orestes Keldorsson Färla but his mother is unknown.
He died before 1346. The place is not known.
His wife was Helena Magnusdotter Folkungaättens oä gren. They were married, but the date and place have not been found. Their four known children were Bengta Karlsdotter (1309-1376), Ingegärd Karlsdotter (?-?), Greger Karlsson (>1315->1358) and Johan Karlsson (?-1378).
