Margaret was born about 1405 in Groby (Grosby), Leicestershire, England, the daughter of sir William de Ferrers and Phillipe de Clifford.

She died on 16 JAN 1452 in Wilton, Herefordshire, England.

She had two marriages/partners. Her first husband was Richard II de Grey. They were married, but the date and place have not been found. Their two known children were Reynold (c1421-1493/94) and Alice (c1380-?).

Her second husband was sir Thomas Grey, who she married on BEF 14 FEB 1445/46. The place has not been found. They had no known children.
