Personal and Family Information

Pedro was born on 18 APR 1320 in Coimbra, dist. Coimbra, Beira Litoral, Portugal , the son of Affonso IV de Portugal and Beatriz de Castilla.

He died on 18 JAN 1367 in Estremoz, dist. Évora, Alto Alentejo, Portugal .

He had four marriages/partners. His first wife was Blanca de Castilla, who he married in 1325 in Alfayete. They had no known children.

His second wife was Constanza Manuel de Castilla, who he married in 1339 in Lisboa, dist. Lisboa, Estremadura, Portugal . Their three known children were Luiz (1340-1340), Fernando (1320-1367) and María (1343->1367).

His third wife was Inês de Castro, who he married in 1346. The place has not been found. Their four known children were Brites (c1347-1381), Affonso (c1348-?), João (1349-1397) and Diniz (1354-1397).

His fourth partner was Teresa Gille Lourenço, but they were never married. Their only known child was João I (1358-1433).
