Margaret was born about 1324, the daughter of sir Hugh de Longland and Margaret de Furneaux. The place is not known.

She died in 1401 in St. Donats, West Glamorgan, Glamorganshire, Galles.

Her husband was sir John St. Barbe. They were married, but the date and place have not been found. Their three known children were Richard (c1363-?), Joan (c1365-?) and Isabel (c1377-1429).
