He died on 18 MAY 1464 in Newcastle-upon-Tyne, Northumberland, England.
His wife was Eleanor de Moleyns. They were married, but the date and place have not been found. Their five known children were Alice Eleonore (c1426-c1471), sir Thomas (c1444-1469), Frideswide (c1444-?), Leonard (c1446-?) and sir Walter (c1447-1516).
