Vytautas was born about 1350 in Senieji Trakai, the son of Kęstutis and Birutė.

He died on 27 OCT 1430 in Trakai.

He had two marriages/partners. His first wife was Anna Sviatoslavna Smolenskaya, who he married in BEF 1387. The place has not been found. Their four known children were Sofija Vytautaitė (1371-1453), Vayduta Gediminovich (?-?), Ivanka Vytautaitis (?-?) and Jurijus Vytautaitis (?-?).

His second wife was Juliana Holszanska, who he married on 19 NOV 1418. The place has not been found. They had no known children.
