He died in 1239 in Palestine.
He had two marriages/partners. His first wife was Constance de Toucy, who he married in ABT 1200. The place has not been found. Their two known children were Clémence (1202-c1250) and Agnès (1204-?).
His second wife was Mahaut de Mehun-sur-Yèvres, who he married in ABT DEC 1216. The place has not been found. Their five known children were Guillaume (?-1282), Blanche (c1220-1240), Isabelle (?-1257), Pierre (1218-1250) and Raoul (1223-1271).
