See notes on his brother Pontchartrain. In several cases Antoine Dequindre is mentioned but it is not clear whether it is Antoine Cesaire or Pontchartrain. He appears to have been the Dagneau de Quindre at the siege of Boonsboro rather than Pontchartain because the latter was on the Hamilton expedition to recapture Fort Vincennes at the time.
