Milon was born about 1040, the son of Guy I de Montlhéry and Hodierne de Gometz-la-Ferté. The place is not known.
He died about 1118 in Ramallah (now in West Bank, Palestine) .
His wife was Adélaïde dite Lithuise de Blois, who he married in 1112. The place has not been found. Their seven known children were NN (c1075-?), Marguerite (c1072-?), Guy III (?-1108), Emmeline (c1077-1121), Élisabeth (c1080->1141), Ermissende (1082-1121) and Milon II (c1085-1118).
