Renaud was born about 1227, the son of Josbert de Sainte-Maure and Agnès de Vendôme. The place is not known.
He died in SEP 1270 in Yunis.
His wife was Létice de Mauzé, who he married in 1245. The place has not been found. Their only known child was Renaud III (c1245->1298).
