Eon was the son of Alain II de la Roche-Bernard but his mother is unknown. The date and place of his birth have not been found.
He died in 1302 in bataille de Coutrai (Kortrijk), siège de la Roche-Derrien, Battle of the Golden Spurs .
His wife was Hermine de Lohéac, who he married in 1279. The place has not been found. Their two known children were Péan (?-1347) and Bernard III (?-c1306).
