Philippe was born in 1269, the son of Robert II d'Artois and Amicie de Courtenay. The place is not known.
He died on 11 SEP 1298 in Furnes.
His wife was Blanche de Bretagne, who he married in AFT 1281. The place has not been found. Their five known children were Marguerite (1286-1311), Robert III (1287-1342), Isabelle (1288-1344), Jeanne (1289->1347) and Marie (1291-1365).
