Richard was born about 1357 in Levens Hall, Levens, Westmoreland (now in Cumberland), England, the son of sir Matthew IV de Redman and Joan FitzHenry.
He died on 22 MAR 1426 in Harewood castle, Leeds, Yorkshire, England.
He had two marriages/partners. His first wife was Elizabeth de Aldeburgh. They were married, but the date and place have not been found. Their three known children were sir Matthew (c1390-?), Jane (?-?) and Richard (?-?).
His second wife was Elizabeth Gascoigne, who he married on AFT 21 DEC 1417. The place has not been found. Their only known child was William (c1419-c1482).
