He died on 06 JAN 1337/38 in Gowran, co. Kilkenny, Ireland.

His wife was Alianore de Bohun, who he married in 1327. The place has not been found. Their four known children were John (1330-?), James (1331-1382), Petronella (c1332-1358) and Elizabeth (?-?).
