Warin was born about 1277 in Kingston Lisle, Sparsholt, Berkshire, England, the son of sir Gerard de l'Isle and Alice de Armenters.

He died about 16 MAR 1322 in Pontefract castle, Wakefield, West Yorkshire, England .

His wife was Alice de Tyeys, who he married in ABT 1302. The place has not been found. Their five known children were Margery (c1314-1361), sir Gerard (c1304-1360), sir Warin (?-1361), Alice (?->1344) and Henry (?-?).
