Marguerite was born about 1301, the daughter of Baudouin I (II) de Savonnières and Marguerite de Saint-Cassien. The place is not known.

She had two marriages/partners. Her first husband was Macé II de la Jumelière. They were married, but the date and place have not been found. Their two known children were Philippe (?->1371) and Jeanne (c1325-c1383).

Her second husband was Guillaume Serpillon, who she married in ABT 1336. The place has not been found. They had no known children.
