Charles was born about 1522 in Surrey, England, the son of Thomas Hoskyns and Joan Catchmead.
He died in 1597. The place is not known.
His wife was Anne Engeler. They were married, but the date and place have not been found. Their only known child was sir Thomas (c1578-c1615).
