Janet was born in 1378 in Broxmouth, Dunbar, East Lothian, Scotland, the daughter of sir Andrew VII Gray and Janet de Mortimer.
She died in 1441. The place is not known.
Her husband was sir Alexander Ogilvy. They were married, but the date and place have not been found. Their four known children were Marjory (?->1476), sir Patrick (?-c1429), sir Andrew (?-?) and David (?-<1440).
