Pál was the son of László Rhédy de Kisrhéde and Erzsébet Recsky de Recsk. The date and place of his birth have not been found.
His wife is not known. They were married, but the date and place have not been found. Their two known children were Pál (1558-c1614) and Ferenc (c1560-1621).
