His third wife was Dorothea III Reuß zu Obergreiz, who he married on 11 NOV 1587 in Greiz. Their three known children were Dorothea Sabina (1588-1589), Georg Heinrich (1590-1591) and Maria Salome (1591-1591).
His fourth wife was Maria IV von Barby-Mühlingen, who he married on 2 AUG 1592. The place has not been found. Their six known children were Dorothea (1593-1643), Friedrich Christian (1594-1594), Christine (1596-1646), Georg I Albrecht (1597-1647), Elisabeth Juliana (1600-1640) and Luise Juliane (1603-1670).
