Rachel was born in 1372 in Dudhope castle, Dundee, Scotland, the daughter of sir Alexander Scrymgeour and Agnes MacGilchrist.
She died in 1406. The place is not known.
Her husband was sir Robert Bruce. They were married, but the date and place have not been found. Their three known children were sir David (1392-1428), sir James (c1396-1447) and Edward (?-?).
