William was born about 1375 in Kirkby Mallory, Leicestershire, England, the son of sir Anketil II de Mallory and Alice de Driby.
He died in 1445 in Papworth St. Agnes, Caxton, Cambridgeshire, England.
His wife was Jane de Plumpton. They were married, but the date and place have not been found. Their four known children were Margaret (c1387-1439), Elizabeth (c1396-?), John (?-?) and William (1404->1452).
