Richard was born about 1424 in Temple Newsham, Leeds, the son of John Darcy and Joane de Greystoke.
He died in 1458 in Upsall, Yorkshire, England.
His wife was Alianore le Scrope. They were married, but the date and place have not been found. Their only known child was William (c1443-1488).
