His wife was Ide Hartvigsdatter Krummedige. They were married, but the date and place have not been found. Their five known children were Anna Nicolausdotter (1346-1441), Catharine Niclausdatter (?->1368), Henneke Nicolausen (?-1404), Timme Nicolausen (?->1394) and Margrethe Clausdatter (?-?).
