Anne was born about 1402 in Leyre-Marney, Essex, England, the daughter of sir William de Marney and Elizabeth Sergeaux.

She died about 1477 in Heron Hall, East Horndon, Essex, England.

Her husband was sir Thomas Tyrrel. They were married, but the date and place have not been found. Their eight known children were Robert (<1428-?), Humphrey (c1427-c1507), Edward (1427-1428), William (c1430-1471), sir Thomas II (c1430->1471), Anne (c1430-?), Elizabeth (c1440-c1505) and Anne II (?-?).
