He had two marriages/partners. His first wife was Mechtilde von Henneberg-Schleusingen, who he married in ABT 1413. The place has not been found. Their three known children were Mechtild (1409->1456), Ursula (c1410-1461) and Margarethe (c1413-c1485).
His second wife was Katharina von Schönburg. They were married, but the date and place have not been found. They had no known children.
