Joan was born about 1414 in Bridgenorth, Shropshire, England, the daughter of Walter Green but her mother is unknown.
She died about 1451 in Colbrook, Buckinghamshire, England.
Her husband was sir Miles de Windsor, who she married in ABT 1443. The place has not been found. Their only known child was Thomas Stanley (1441-1485).
