Eleanor was born in 1464 in Gipping, Suffolk, Engalnd, the daughter of sir William Tyrrell and Margaret Darcy.
She died in 1514 in Sussex Square, London.
Her husband was sir Edmund Knyvett. They were married, but the date and place have not been found. Their eight known children were sir Thomas (<1489-1512), William (1489-?), sir Anthony (1485-1549), Christopher (1491-1520), James (1487-?), Anne (c1475-1558), Edward (c1486-<1539) and Edmund (c1486-1539/40).
