Kunka was born on 18 NOV 1422 in Konopischt, the daughter of Smil ze Šternberka and Barbora z Pardubic.

She died on 19 NOV 1449 in Prague (Praha, Prag), Čechy .

Her husband was Jiří z Poděbrad a Kunštátu, who she married in 1444. The place has not been found. Their six known children were Boček (1442-1496), Viktorin II (1443-1500), Barbora (1446-1474), Jindřich I Starší (1448-1498), Zdeňka (1449-1510) and Kunhuta (1449-1464).
