He died on 11 MAR 1486 in Frankfurt am Main, Darmstadt, Hessen, Deutschland .
He had two marriages/partners. His first wife was Margarete von Baden, who he married on 12 NOV 1446 in Heilsbronn. Their six known children were Wolfgang (<1449-1450), Ursula (1450-1508), Elisabeth (1451-1524), Margarete (1453-1509), Johann Cicero (1455-1499) and Friedrich (?-?).
His second wife was Anna von Sachsen, who he married in ABT 1458. The place has not been found. Their thirteen known children were Friedrich V (II) (1460-1536), Amalie (1461-1481), Anna (1462-1462), Barbara (1464-1515), Albrecht (1466-1466), Sibylle (1467-1524), Siegmund (1468-1495), Albrecht (1470-1470), Dorothea (1471-1520), Georg (1472-1476), Elisabeth (1474-1507), Magdalene (1476-1480) and Anastasie (1478-1534).
