Roger was born about 1445 in Cornello, the son of Pasius de Tassis de Cornello and Tonola de Magnasco.
He died in 1514/15 in Romacolp.
His wife was Alegria de Albricio. They were married, but the date and place have not been found. Their seven known children were Maffeo (?-1536/37), Simon I (?-1563), David (?-c1538), Johann Baptista (c1470-1541), Helena (?-?), Elizabetta (?-?) and Joanna (?-?).
