Nicolo was born in 1508 in Madruzzo, the son of Giovanni Gaudenzio di Madruzzo and Euphemia von Sparrenberg.
He died on 23 DEC 1572 in Riva.
He had three marriages/partners. His first wife was Helene von Lamberg, who he married in 1530 in Innsbruck. Their seven known children were Ludovico (1532-1600), Gaudenzio (1533-1599), Ferdinando Fortunato (1534-1556), Gian Federico (1535-1604), Giorgio (1536-1591), Alessandro (1537-1579) and Elisabetta (1538-1603).
His second wife was Gerardina d'Arco, who he married on 20 SEP 1539 in Trento. Their five known children were Giovanni Ludovico (1532-1600), Odorico (1539-1552), Eriprando (1540-1606), Giulia (1541-1609) and Gian Francesco (1543-1619).
His third partner is not knownThey were never married. Their three known children were Paolo (c1530-1570), Nicola (1559-1634) and Giovan Battista (1564-1621).
