Václav was born in 1480 in Schrattenthal, the son of Oldřich Černohorský z Boskovic and Kateřina ze Sovince.
He died in 1554. The place is not known.
He had two marriages/partners. His first wife was Anna z Ojnic. They were married, but the date and place have not been found. Their three known children were Johanka (1510-1564), Jan Šembera (?-1597) and Albrecht (?-1572).
His second wife was Marie Žabková z Limberka. They were married, but the date and place have not been found. Their three known children were Anežka (?-?), Magdalena (?-?) and Kunka (?-?).
