Richard was born about 1505 in Wrotham, Kent, England, the son of Thomas Hill and Elizabeth Barnwell.
He died about 1526. The place is not known.
His wife was Elizabeth Isley. They were married, but the date and place have not been found. Their six known children were Frances (c1532-?), Mary (1532-1586), Dorothy (c1538-?), Ellen (?-1638), Joan (c1541-c1578) and Henry (1526-c1561).
