Personal and Family Information

Edward was born in 1506 in Wulfhall (Wolf Hall), Savernake, Wiltshire, England (demolished 1569) , the son of sir John Seymour and Margery Wentworth.

He died on 22 JAN 1552 in Tower Hill, Stepney, Middlesex, England .

He had two marriages/partners. His first wife was Katherine Filliol, who he married in ABT 1527. The place has not been found. Their two known children were John (1527-1552) and Edward (c1528-1593).

His second wife was Anne Stanhope. They were married, but the date and place have not been found. Their ten known children were Edward (1537-1539), Edward (1539-1621), Anne (1538-1588), Henry (1540-?), Margaret (?-?), Jane (c1541-1561), Catherine (?-?), Edward (1548-1574), Mary (1552-?) and Elizabeth (1552-1602).
