Matilda was born about 1452 in Adlington, Macclesfield, Cheshire, England, the daughter of sir Robert V de Leigh and Ellen Booth.
She died in 1512. The place is not known.
Her husband was John Hankyn Mainwaring. They were married, but the date and place have not been found. Their only known child was Agnes (c1490-1560).
