Tomislav was born in 1928 in Belgrade, the son of Alexander I of Yugoslavia and Marie (Mignon) von Hohenzollern.
He had two marriages/partners. His first wife was Alice Scholastica, who he married in 1957 in Salem, Bavaria. Their two known children were Nikolas K. (1958-?) and Katarina K. (1959-?).
His second wife was Linda Bonney. They were married, but the date and place have not been found. Their only known child was George K. (1984-?).
