Geertruida was born in 1552 in Myllendonk bij Keulen, the daughter of Dietrich von Millendonck and Theodora van Bronckhorst-Batenburg.

She died on 23 NOV 1612 in Anholt.

Her husband was Jacob van Bronckhorst-Batenburg, who she married on 13 MAY 1576. The place has not been found. Their three known children were Dirk (1578-1649), Elisabeth (1579-1639) and Johan Jakob (1582-1630).
