He had two marriages/partners. His first wife was Cordell Alington. They were married, but the date and place have not been found. Their only known child was Philip (1584-1656).
His second wife was Catherine Trentham, who he married on 18 Jan 1584/85 in Rocester, Staffordshire, England. They had no known children.
