His wife was Ingebjørg Erlingsdatter Bjarkøy. They were married, but the date and place have not been found. Their five known children were Agnes Sigurdsdotter (?-c1424), Cecilia Sigurdsdatter (1338-1363), Dag Sigurdsøn (1321-?), Håkon Sigurdsson (?-1407) and Ingeborg Sigurdsdatter (?-?).
