Knut was born in 1303 in Aspenäs, Lerum, Västra Götaland, Sverige, the son of Jon Filipsson Sparre av Aspenäs and Ingeborg Svantepolksdotter Skarsholmsätten.
He died in BET 1345 AND 1347. The place is not known.
His wife was Katarina Bengtsdotter Folkungaätten. They were married, but the date and place have not been found. Their four known children were Magnus Knutsson (c1299-c1366), Cecilia Knutsdotter (1306->1350), Jon Knutsson (?-<1357) and Ingeborg Knutsdotter (?->1332).
