Wolfert was born about 1255 in Veere, Schouwen-Duifeland, Zeeland, Nederland, the son of Hendrik Wisse van Borsselen and Clarisse de Gavre.

He died on 01 AUG 1299 in Delft, Zuid-Holland, Nederland.
