His wife was Anne de Croÿ, who he married on 4 JAN 1587 in Beaumont, Hainaut. Their eleven known children were Philippe-Charles (1587-1640), Charles (1588-1613), Ernestine (1589-1653), Alexander (1590-1629), Salentin (1591-1592), Antoine (1593-1669), Claude (1594-1670), Albertine (1596-1652), Eugene Charles (1600-1635), Dorothea Johanna (1601-1665) and Caroline Ernestine (1606-1630).
