Sophia was born on 26 MAR 1687 in Hannover, the daughter of Georg I Ludwig von Hannover and Sophie Dorothea von Braunschweig-Lüneburg.

She died on 28 JUN 1757 in Monbijou Palace, Berlin.

Her husband was Friedrich I Wilhelm von Hohenzollern, who she married on 28 NOV 1706. The place has not been found.
