Pierre was born about 1575 in Launay, Courgeon, France, the son of Jean Malet but his mother is unknown.
His wife was Jacquette Léger-Liger, who he married in ABT 1608 in Église Saint-Jean-de-Mortagne, Mortagne-au-Perche, Orne, Basse-Normandie, France. Their only known child was Périnne (1603-1687).
