Kent County Land Records, Chatham, ON: In a "Memorial" dated 28-10-1847 an Antoine Dequindre, gentleman, of Green Bay WI quit claim his ownership to Lot #2, Dover Twp, Kent County in favour of Theodore Dequindre, gentleman, then of Detroit. The price was 125 pounds of the lawful money of Canada. JWP Note: This is the land apparently granted to their grandfather, Pontchartrain circa
