His wife was Marie-Madeleine Lefrançois, who he married on 16 NOV 1654 in Fort Louis, Québec (contrat Audouart). Their eight known children were Claire-Françoise (1655-1728), Jeanne-Marguerite (1657-1718), Guillaume (1658-1692), François (c1660-1710), Charles (1661-1685), Nicolas (1663-1727), Anne (1665-1749) and Étienne (1668-<1681).
